The Aylesbury Arm of the Grand Union Canal is a great starting point for family walks and to see the bustle of life at the water's edge. The Aylesbury Arm used to transport grain, timber, coal and building materials until the 1960s.
Threatened with closure, a team of canal enthusiasts worked hard to keep it open. Today, their dedication has paid off with a new marina just outside of Aylesbury. Just a short walk along the towpath, Circus Field Marina is home to lots of boats and a wet and dry dock.
